I am Stacy, 
your dog trainer.

I grew up in a small-ish city in central/west Texas and always had a love for all creatures. After not completing college, and with the full support of my family, in 1999 I set out to become a dog trainer. 
​I packed my bags and headed to Queens New York to learn all about dog training and behavior at a placed called the Animal Behavior Center of New York. I lived in a Best Western with 2 other girls and went to "school" 6 days a week to learn everything I could about dogs, behavior, learning theory, ethology and how to work with clients. After 3 months I obtained a certificate which boasted "Canine Behavior Therapist." 

In 2003 I started my own business after working for a big box pet store teaching classes for 3 years. In 2018, I earned my dog trainer certification - CPDT-KA - through the Council of Certified Professional Dog Trainers.

I currently have 1 dog, 3 beautiful daughters and a very patient husband. My dog is a 9-year-old Beagle named Charlotte. She's a great little dog and has been a great pup for my family. I currently have plans to add a puppy to my family, so stay tuned.
